Next Generation Rooflights can trace it origins back to 2013 originally founded as Vision AGI, from our earliest days we recognised the necessity for energy efficient, greener, high specification rooflight systems.

Next Generation Rooflights can trace it origins back to 2013 originally founded as Vision AGI, from our earliest days we recognised the necessity for energy efficient, greener, high specification rooflight systems. Over the years, we have continually honed our craft and expanded our offerings, becoming a trusted advisor in the rooflight industry. In 2022, to further underline these aspirations we rebranded as Next Generation Rooflights, but our commitment to creating high quality environmentally friendly rooflight solutions is still the same.

High End Residential Projects

  • Double glazing has been a mainstay since the late 1990’s is increasing being replaced by triple glazed products and solar control glass is rapidly becoming a standard for energy efficiency, with tempered external and laminated internal glass being used for safety in overhead glazing.
  • Structural Glazing and Large Rooflights are increasing used in high end residential projects to create lighter environments. Glazing is ideal to increase natural light. Electric opening rooflights allow for both light and ventilation (and are often combined with roof terrace access) and Sliding Glass Box Rooflights are a particularly useful solution to provide Part K compliant headroom.
  • When natural light is needed products like multi part rooflights, pitched fixed rooflights or ridge rooflights combined with triple glazing and solar control glass is often the most practical solution.
  • glass atriums enhance ambience and attract customers here multi part rooflights, pitched fixed rooflights or ridge rooflights come into their own. Behind the (or in front of the) scenes ventilation can be added with opening rooflights and the multi part rooflights and pitched fixed rooflights can be fitted with glass to allow staff to walk on the glass to carry maintenance and cleaning safely.

  • schools, hospitals, and government facilities can often be the most challenging projects combing the need for maximum energy efficiency, safety and practicality. Natural light is often core (no electricity for light bulbs in daylight hours) and the environment (and its temperature) needs to be just right to provide a welcoming ambience. Multi part rooflights and electric open rooflights can provide the ideal solution with ventilation from sensor controlled opening (and closing rooflights). This can provide natural ventilation reducing the costs associated with air conditioning systems and improve the projects green credentials.
  • Fire rated rooflights are also available, especially important when you require natural light near fire exits.
