A Large Access Hatch Rooflight is a combined rooflight and access solution designed to let unobstructed natural light into a building and provide cost effective, safe, regular access to a roof space or terrace — perfect when you need more than just daylight and occasional maintenance access.

Large Access Hatch Advantages

The large access hatch brings all the benefits you know, but, bigger, meaning you can effortlessly add light and access solutions

Larger Size for Regular Use – These are bigger than standard access hatches, sized so that people can safely and comfortably use them to access the roof or terrace in compliance with Part K of UK Building Regulations (for regular access).

Electric Opening Mechanism – Typically supplied with an electric actuator so they open and close with the push of a button, making them easier and safer to operate than purely manual hatches — especially useful on larger units.

Smart Functionality – The hatch is operated by a Smart Switch enabling both a simple touch switch with a Smart phone App and the ability to be operated by Alexa/Siri etc.
