Ridge Rooflights

Ridge Rooflights, also known as ‘ridge lights’, are designed to be installed over the apex or ridge of a pitched roof. They increase the amount of natural light to your space with unobstructed views of the sky and surrounding environment. This means daylight can continue to stream in to your space, uninterrupted, so as the sun rolls over from one side of your building to the other you can maximise the available natural light.

We can supply Ridge Rooflights as either double or triple glazed, they are fitted with toughened external glass and a laminated safety glass inner pane. We  supply them with industry leading high-performance solar control as standard, which reduces the warming effect of the sun’s rays.

Ridge Rooflights are designed to be installed within a pitch range of between 15° and 50°, if required we can design your rooflight to accommodate asymmetrical roof pitches and/or incorporate different rooflight slope lengths on either side.

There are two main styles; the first fits onto a timber upstand (kerb) and can incorporate opening sections and a second fixed (in-plane) version that is completely in line with your roof finishes.
To summarise we can supply:

  • Symmetrical or Asymmetrical
  • Double or Triple Glazed
  • Fixed in-plane (flush),
  • Electric Opening when located on an upstand.
